Brity Yonly is a Multi Award winning Zimbabwean Musician and Actress who rose to fame with her hit song Vachabaiwa ,born on 03 November 1993 in Harare Zimbabwe Brity has been a regular performer in Zimbabwe and outside Zimbabwe in countries like South Africa ,Botswana ,China ,Norway and the UK. Im 2023 under the management of Scot-Zim Connect led by Malvin Dyoco (Daddy Slaggy ) she collaborated with Charma Gal on a song titled Single Mother which won the best Collaboration award in 2024 ,and also collaborated with Slizer on a track yet to be released ,that same year she made her debut UK with her Ubuntu Album (UBUNTU ALBUM TOUR).
Brity Yonly also stayed in China for 3 years as a performing Artist with her Mbira Music. besides playing Mbira Brity also plays Marimba, Percussion, Piano and performs with a 6 piece band called The Dream Team. Brity is a girl child activist and cultural ambassador who represents her country across the globe with her Music. She is the Founder and Artistic Director of MuFoGwO Festival,a platforms which seeks to promote female musicians from across the globe.

"The song that I did with Charma Gal talks about single mothers and their importance in society," she said.
“Most people view single mothers in negative ways, they forget what they go through in order to survive and raise the kids.
"Single mothers face discrimination and all sorts of stereotypes. So this song is advocating for them and telling them to be strong.”
Charma Gal told Standard Style that her collaboration with Yonly would strengthen their cultures.
“Cultural exchange in the music industry is important because it unites nations and even different cultures in a way that is educational, creative and fun," she said.
China based Afro jazz artiste Brity Yonly says she has found her feet after authorities reopened attractions in the Asian country.
Born Whitney Matiyanga, the mbira player is slowly becoming a much sought after performing artiste at the Ling Ling Circus in Xiamen Island.
Speaking from her base, Brity Yonly has hinted on a new video.
“Statistics are proving that China is recovering from the coronavirus and this has given some of us time to reignite our talents.
“I have a new video titled Vachabaiwa coming out soon and launch dates on YouTube and Trace Africa have already been set for August 7,” she said.
According to her, Vachabaiwa is a diss to her critics who prayed for her downfall after moving to the Asian country.
